About the Book

Each year, when the peaches ripen on her farm, Alden Forth  takes a lover only to let him go after a few short weeks. That is until the summer her simple  life is threatened by her grandfather's descent into dementia and the arrival of a revivalist minister whose vehemence to save souls could destroy her.
